Fastpitch Softball Program Overview

The PYSBA provides children in Princeton, MN the opportunity to play competitive fastpitch softball to girls ages 5 - 18.

In-House Program (Practices start early May)

  • 6U is an in-house program offering 5 and 6 year old girls an introduction to softball and the possibility to play some games against other local 6U teams. 6U play/practices Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
  • 8U Softball provides 7 and 8 year old girls an excellent opportunity to continue learning softball in controlled game situations.

Although 8U is in-house, we've formed a league with other towns to provide games against their 8U teams.

  • 8U will play two games per week on Mondays and Wednesdays against other local 8U teams beginning in May.
  • The games are machine pitched, giving the players more opportunity to hit the ball and make defensive plays.
  • There will be one tournament provided at this level as well.  If the teams decide to play in an additional tournament,  the additional fees will collected by the coach.

 Travel Softball League 10U-16U

  • If your team elects to play more than the tournaments provided additional fees will be collected by the coaching staff.
